Robert "Bob" Davis, 88, of Benton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 21, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a brother, and a granddaughter.

Bob loved the Lord and was a faithful member of New Life Baptist Church.  He had a long and fulfilling career, working for Kroger for 45 years.  Bob served in the Air Force National Guard.  His dedication to his community was evident through his roles as a Scout leader, Sunday School teacher, and a member of the Carpenter Crew at Holland Chapel Baptist Church.

He was devoted to the love of his life, JoAnn, for 71 years.  Bob also loved his family fiercely and his greatest joy came from spending time with them.  He never hesitated to share how precious they were to him and how proud he was of each one.

Bob was born on October 13, 1935 in Fort Smith.  He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; his brother, Hal Davis of Hackett; his children, Jeannie Creasey (Daniel), Stanley (Melinda), Jeff (Holly), Tim (Shannon), and Dennis (Violet); ten grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 28 at New Life Baptist Church with services beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.  Bro. John Venable and Richard Eberle will be officiating.
