Robert (Bob) Wesley Houpt, of Bauxite passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the age of 82.

Robert retired after 35 years from Diamond International in North Little Rock Arkansas. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, operating his tractor, riding his great-grandchildren on his ATV and being around his family and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents John Edward Houpt and Lyda Mae Carson, Arco Winburn (his step Father who raised him), and his five siblings; John E Houpt, Paul Winburn, John Edwin Houpt, Mary Ridenour, and Joyce Ann Winburn.

He is survived by his wife Barabara, daughter, Holly Clemmons and her husband Kelly Clemmons, who were all there by his side until the end; two grandsons Bradley Mitchell Clemmons and Casey Robert Clemmons (Brittany); and six great-grandchildren, Devyn Rae Clemmons, Haden Joseph Rigsby, Evan Mitchell Clemmons, Ellison Jewel Clemmons, Nixie Willow Clemmons and Hudson Hines.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff and doctors at Arkansas Heart Hospital for their professional support and help with a special thank you to all the Nursing staff for being there during the familys time of need.

The visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m Monday, December 15th, at Ashby Funeral Home located at 108 West Narroway, Benton Arkansas. 72015.

The funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 16th, at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church located at 3700 Mount Olive Road, Bauxite Arkansas, 72011

The family request that donations be made in memory of Robert Wesley Houpt to Mount Olive Missionary Church, or Mount Olive Cemetery instead of flowers.
