Robert Taylor White, age 83, of Benton, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 25, 2024.  He was born to the late Ira and Josephine White on February 17, 1941.

Robert worked in the computer field and owned his own business for over 20 years.  He enjoyed playing softball in his younger years and continued to be involved by umpiring games.  His love for antique corvettes led to having his own.  Robert enjoyed many fun trips to the Eureka Springs corvette rallies.

He held different church roles over the years.  Robert was a member at Salem Baptist Church for 25 years and later joined Park Place Baptist Church where he looked forward to hearing God's Word every week.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory:  his wife of 35 years, Joanie; daughter, Tammy Thomas (John); step-daughter, Brittany Lehman (Tim); granddaughter, Ellie Lehman; sister, Nelda Barnard (Eddie); and a sister-in-law, Terri Francis (Luke).

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 29 at Park Place Baptist Church @ 22208 Interstate 30 N. in Bryant, AR 72022 with burial at Cameron Cemetery in Salem.  Bro. Gary Lambright and Bro. Billy Kite will be officiating.
