Roena Louise Robinson, 72, of Benton went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2024. She was born January 3, 1952 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Marietta (Fairweather) and Ralph Goacher Sr. In addition to her parents, Roena was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by her brother, Ralph Goacher Jr.

Roena will be lovingly remembered for her bubbly, upbeat personality and laughter. She was the happiest person you'll ever meet and was always giggling. Roena was a beacon of light and could see the bright side of every situation, even the bad ones. She had many careers throughout her lifetime, first as a key punch operator for the United States Air Force where she met her husband; then she worked as a florist, in-home healthcare worker, greeting card manufacturer, and lastly her favorite, a bus driver for the handicap. Her most important role, though, was wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She cherished her family dearly and always enjoyed the two week summer vacations the whole family took every year. She loved going to church, reading her bible verses and singing in the choir. Roena was also a talented baker and enjoyed making pies and cakes for family and friends' birthdays and special occasions.

Those left to cherish the memories of Roena include her husband of fifty-two years, Don Robinson; her two daughters, Celeste (Jason) Pearson and Cheryl (Steven) Nichol; grandchildren, Drusilla Westfall, Harley Westfall, Emma Jackson, and Jase, Jaylen and Joshua Pearson; great-grandchildren, Levi Westfall, Anna-Faye Hendricks and one on the way; siblings, Tony (Mary) Goacher; and several extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Ashby Funeral Home. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service, 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Roena will be laid to rest following the service at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
