Rose Marie Green age 92, of Garden Grove CA. passed away on January 4, 2024 peacefully at her home. Rosemarie was born to the late Dave and Rose Ann Halsted Dove on September 4, 1931 in Bauxite, Ark. Rosemarie graduated nursing school with a degree and license as a registered nurse in 1950, she wore many hats during her career until she retired in 2003 from the VA Hospital in Little Rock.

Rosemarie is proceeded in death by her husband Plummer Howell (Buddy Green), two daughters, Carolyn Green and Cynthia Karetov, son-in-law, Ed Chalberg and all 7 Siblings.

She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Chalberg of Orange CA., and Donna Domon (Steve) of Garden Grove, CA. and a son-in-law, Steve Karetov, Benton, AR. 6 grandchildren, Alicia Chalberg, CA., Kenneth Chalberg (Katie), Texas, Jason Hurtado (Zoe) Denver, CO., Jolene Smith (Chief Jason R) San Diego (US Navy), Tyler Karetov (Kristen), Ark, David Karetov, Ark., 10 great-grandchildren, Jamin Chalberg, CA., Austin Hurtado, CA., Rosemarie Ayala, CA., Jade Hurtado, Ark, Jewel Hurtado, Colorado, Haylie Rose Smith, CA., Ryder Levi Smith, CA., Mathew Chalberg, Alaska (US Army), Austin and Hunter Chalberg, TX., Miles Karetov, Ark, 4 great-great-grandchildren, Liam and Sutton Vise, Bryant, Ark., Easton and Kayden Terrance, San Diego, CA., numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, February 2, at Ashby Funeral Home

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery. Minister will be Bro. Kim Hammer.

Pallbearers: will be Austin Hurtado, Jason Hurtado, Jason R. Smith, Jamin Chalberg, Tyler and David Karetov.
