Rosemary Carter McMurry, age 95, of Benton, lovingly attended by daughter Rebecca Garcia, son Rick McMurry, nephew Rodney Hawkins and wife Reba, and niece Roxanne Smith, has quietly passed away on May 2, 2023 after a short illness.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Morris Alfred McMurry and Dale Graddy.

Rosemary is also survived by her much loved grandson Joshua Meredith, her best friend and helpmate Norma Sams, and a total of nine nieces & nephews.

She was born May 31, 1927 in Aplin, Arkansas to the late Chester and Effie Carter. Rosemary graduated from Bauxite High School and was a member of Highway Church of Christ. Central to her life were God, family, and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Viewing and remembrance will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 5 at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton. We've loved her, and now we must let her go.
