Ross Dean Lee, 86 of Benton, passed away on April 12, 2023.  He was born on August 21, 1936 in the Saline County Community of Mt. Olive to the late J.S. "Bud" Lee and Rachel Childress Lee.  Ross was a member of First Christian Church of Benton, where he served as an Elder, He was a veteran of the United States Army and previously served as Chaplin for the ASA Okinawa Association,  was a volunteer at CJohn and he was retired from Alcoa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Lee.

Ross is survived by his wife, Dorothy Sue Lee, daughter, Leanna (Curtis) Wood, brother, John Lee and sister, Margie Hughes; two grandchildren, Bud and Alexis Wood.

Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be on Monday, April 17 ^th (his favorite son in law's birthday) at Ashby's at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Dennis Bell officiating.  Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Tull.

Visitation will be at Ashby's on Sunday, 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
