Ruby Faye Andrews Johnson, age 86, of Bryant; passed away Monday, August 12, 2024. She was born August 29, 1937, in Morrilton, Arkansas. Ruby was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elza & Effie (Dutton) Andrews; husband, Carl Johnson; daughter, Sharlotte Johnson; brothers, Floyd, Harvey, L.C. & Jessie Andrews; sisters, Charlene "Charlsie" Nichols, Lucy Wilkerson and Margie Hughes; and two grandchildren, Shannon Lynn Wilson and Jason Scott Wilson, also, her best friend, Mary Shepherd.

Ruby is survived by two daughters, Tammy Cottingham (Michael) and Brandi Burton (Jamey); five grandchildren, Karissa Witherspoon (Ryan), Philip Cottingham (Darcy), Jessika Hansen (Zachary), Dylan Burton, and Dakota Burton; one great-grandchild, Chloe Hansen.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jeff Mayfield and his staff at the Benton and Bryant Family Clinics, and the staff at Southern Trace Rehab, and Evergreen for taking care of her the last few months.

Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 16 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 16 at Rosemont Cemetery.
