Ruby Jewel Lancaster, age 90, of Little Rock; passed away Tuesday April 22, 2008. She was born December 16, 1917 in Alexander, Arkansas. Mrs. Lancaster was a homemaker and a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lafayette and Clara Burruss; husband, Ernest Raymond Lancaster; brother, James Crawford Burruss; one grandson and one granddaughter.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne Lancaster of Little Rock and Raymond Lancaster of Bauxite; three daughters, Mary Justice, Kathy Harris and Clara Combs all of Little Rock; sister, Mary Wylie of Alexander; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday April 25 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 26 at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church with burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
