Russell Edward Corron, 82 of Benton, passed away on December 12, 2023.  He was born on June 8, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Russell Everett and Clara Lucille Oppie Corron.  Russell was a member of The Benton First Church of the Nazarene, served in the United States Air Force and worked many years for TWA Airlines in ground crew.

Russ was an avid reader who loved discovering new authors, though he had his favorites too.  He had a library full of books by David Baldacai, Lee Child, James Patterson and Clive Cussler, just to name a few.

Russ was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Katherine "Kathy" Sue Corron, brother, Ronald Everett Corron, sister, Joellen Lucille Lilly and brother in law, Thomas "Tom" E. Lilly.

He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Michelle and Bill Windle of Benton, grandchildren, Bryce and Lexi Windle,  daughter and son in law, Amber Bunn-Lane and Brent Lane of Benton; son, Ryan Bunn of Ohio and  daughter, Christina Tureaud; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held by the family on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Benton First Church of the Nazarene.
