Ryan Andrew Daniel, 50, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away on September 2, 2025.

Ryan was born on April 29, 1975, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Richard & Amy Daniel of Benton, Arkansas, who survive him. He is also survived by his wife Karen; his sons Brayden and Bridger (Marissa); his daughter Brynlee; his granddaughter Mykah; his brothers Rick Daniel and Rhett (Dana) Daniel; his sister Rachel (Wade)Willmott; his nephews Cooper and Asher Daniel; and his nieces Riley, Ashby, Hallie, and Lillie Daniel, and Mackenzie, Meredith, and Emma Willmott.

Ryan was a 1993 graduate of Benton High School where he played trombone in the band. He served a two year mission in Romania for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, where he obtained his nursing degree and met his wife, Karen.  He used his nursing skills to help the lives of others and had previously worked as an ICU nurse at Saline Memorial Hospital, Dialysis nurse at Fresenius Dialysis in Little Rock, and was currently working as a Cardiac ICU nurse at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. Ryan was an Eagle Scout and loved the outdoors. He was an especially skilled whitewater rafter and was a member of the Arkansas Canoe Club.

Ryan was a personality that was at times larger than life and was hard not to notice. To his nieces and nephews, he was the uncle they loved to be around because there was never a dull moment. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him and loved him, and the part of the world he occupied will be a little quieter and less interesting.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 10, at Ten Mile Cemetery.
