Sharon Kay
Andrews
Aug 7, 1947 — Jun 24, 2026
Benton
Sharon Kay Andrews, 78, of Benton and Georgetown, passed away on June 24, 2026.
Sharon, or "KK" to those who loved her, was born on August 7, 1947, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Louis and Hazel Lane. She dedicated many years to Benton Utilities before retiring and later began a second career as a dental hygienist. She enjoyed the simple things in life: hosting family get-togethers, shopping, catching up on the phone, and sharing a good laugh over the latest gossip. Above all else, her children and grandchildren were the center of her world and her greatest pride and joy. Her laughter, love, and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Hazel Lane; her sisters, Jeanne Cole and Vicky Lane; her son-in-law, Darren Hass; and her favorite cousin, Dan Harmon.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Jerry "Buddy" Andrews of Georgetown; her daughter, Sherry Robinson (Bobby) of Benton; her daughter, Alyson Andrews Hass of Benton; her sister, Jan Leach of Benton; her grandchildren, Keeley Culver (Lance) of Benton, Kyleigh Robinson (Dakota) of Benton, Bailey Allen (Alida) of Benton, Cruz Oseguera (Leigha) of Benton, and Macy Hass of Benton; her great-grandchildren, Delilah, Silas, Zailyn, and Jeremiah; her special cousin, Donna Wright; and her niece, Missy Blount.
Pallbearers will be Bailey Allen, Cruz Oseguera, Lance Culver, Brayden Henley, Nick Gabbard, Brian Henley, and honorary pallbearer Bobby Robinson.
The family would like to thank Elite Hospice for the compassionate care they provided during Sharon's final months, especially Charlotte Widdle, RN; Judy Miller, RN; Halee Mickelson, RN; Chesley Franklin, MSW; Candace Lancaster, CNA; and, most especially, Leah Privett, CNA. Leah, we will always be grateful for the kindness and love you showed our mother, for listening to the latest gossip with her, and for treating her with respect and dignity, even when she was stubborn.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, at New Rosemont Cemetery in Benton. Family and friends are welcome to gather to celebrate KK's life and share one final laugh in her honor.
