Obituary

Stanley Norman Grimmett, age 71, of Bryant, passed away on Tuesday February 18, 2025 surrounded by those who loved him. He was born and raised in Benton, Arkansas and graduated from Bryant High school in 1971. He went on to attend the University of Arkansas at Monticello. After college, he dedicated 34 years to a career with FedEx.

Stanley was a faithful member of Salem United Methodist Church where he was instrumental in creating a beautiful landscape around the church. He also built several projects for the children's playground. Stanley found joy in life's simple pleasures such as woodworking, hitting the golf course and cheering on the Razorbacks and the St. Louis Cardinals. He had a deep love for gardening and took great pride in growing his own vegetables. His generosity was evident in the way he shared his produce with family, friends and neighbors. His love for his dogs was unmatched and they were always by his side. His kindness for others, sense of humor and unwavering loyalty to those he loved will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Wilma Grimmett.

Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Debbie (Deb) Grimmett; his brother, Doug Grimmett; his sister, Paula Fought; and their spouses. He leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories for those who knew him.

His wishes were to be an organ donor, if possible; and to be cremated. He also asked there be no service.
