Stanley Eugene Keaton, age 93, of Benton, went to be with the Lord Monday July 10, 2023.  He served his country with 4 years in the Navy and a career in the Air Force which he retired from.  Stan was a member of the Parkview United Methodist Church in Benton.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Evelyn of their home; two daughters, Linda Renee Keaton Snider of Little Rock and Cindy Keaton Thaxton of Carlisle; granddaughter, A.J. Brown (Michael) of Genoa; grandsons, Jay Snider (Christina) of Little Rock, Keaton Thaxton (Lindsey) of Carlisle and Clayton Thaxton (Elizabeth) of Carlisle; six great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.  A bonus family, son, Jeff Dillard of Colorado Springs (John & Josh); daughter, Tara Garvin (Ava) of Frisco, Texas.  Stan is also survived by a brother, Johnny Keaton (Nellie); three sisters, Kay Uselton (Gary), Faye Logan, and Joyce Shadrick (Neal); and a sister-in-law, Linda Keaton.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Ben & Mabel Keaton; first wife, Margaret June Fitch Keaton of 28 years; his brother, Bob Keaton; his sisters, Polly Rhea and Martha Rowland; and his son-in-law, Mart Thaxton.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 14 at Ashby Funeral Home with a 3:00 p.m. graveside service at Carlisle Cemetery in Carlisle.  There will be an open visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Parkview United Methodist Church Food Pantry located at 514 N. Border St. in Benton, Ar 72015.
