Feb 26, 1954 — Dec 11, 2024
Benton and Yellville
It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Biggs announces her passing on December 11, 2024, at the age of 70. Susan was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, February 26, 1954, to Joe Prichard and Merle Prichard King. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Her memory will live in the hearts of all who knew her.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Prichard and Merle Kirkpatrick King, and brother, Kirk Prichard. She is survived by her devoted husband of many years, Randy Biggs, and children Kelly Morrow, Jacob Brown, Amy Brashear, Brandon Biggs, and Buddy Biggs. Her sisters-in-law Janet Sholer and Becky Prichard. Susan also leaves grandchildren, Emma Stoval and Cole Garrett and brother, Doug (Barbara) Prichard of Fayetteville, AR.
Susan worked for many years in the banking and utility sectors, retiring from Regions Bank and Benton Utilities before fulfilling her dream of living on a mountain top overlooking the beauty of Bull Shoals Lake. It was there that she found peace, surrounded by nature and the love of her family.
Known for her boundless energy and compassion, Susan enjoyed many activities that brought her joy, from camping and fishing to stargazing and animal rescue. Her heart always was open to those in need, and she found fulfillment in caring for animals and helping others. Above all, she cherished her family and her love for them was evident in all she did.
Susan's passing leaves a void that will be felt deeply by her family, friends, and community. She was a woman of strength, kindness, and grace, and her spirit will continue to shine in the memories of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00am, January 25th at First United Methodist Church, 200 Market Street, Benton, AR. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Benton Animal Control and Adoption Center in Susan's honor. (www.bentonar.org >animal-services).
