Tatum Kyle
Wichert
Jul 29, 2022 — Mar 22, 2026
Benton
With hearts that are deeply broken, we remember and celebrate the life of Tatum Kyle Wichert, who passed away on March 22, 2026, at the age of three. Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave and the joy he brought will last a lifetime.
Tatum was born on July 29, 2022, to his loving parents, Austin and Presley Wichert, and from the very beginning he was a bright light in their lives. He had the most beautiful smile, an infectious laugh, and a loving spirit that made everyone around him feel happiness. Tatum loved to play, explore the world around him, and stay close to the people he loved most. His hugs were warm, his laughter was pure, and his presence made every day better.
He was deeply loved by his parents, his sister, his family, and all who had the blessing of knowing him. In his short life, Tatum taught those around him the true meaning of unconditional love, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who love him.
While we will never understand why his time with us was so brief, we will always be thankful for every moment we were given. Tatum's life was a gift, his love was endless, and his light will never fade.
He is survived by his parents, Austin and Presley Wichert; his big sister, Thea Wichert; Grandparents, Great-grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 27 at Ashby Funeral Home with a Celebration of Tatum's Life beginning at 2:00 p.m.
In honor of Tatum's bright and joyful spirit, the family kindly asks that those attending services wear bright colors rather than black, to help celebrate the happiness and light he brought into the world.
Tatum will always be loved, always be remembered, and always be our precious baby boy.
