Timothy "Tim" Ames, age 70, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, in Benton, Arkansas. Born in Inglewood, California on May 30, 1954.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and June (Heppner) Ames, older brother Larry and sister Terri Ames.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cheryl Ames, his son, Matthew (Rebekah) Ames & grand-daughter, Margot. His daughter, Rebekah (Darrell) Ellis. His sister, Cindy (Kenny) Lancaster, and his niece Rebecca (Joe) Wilson, his nephew Evan (Lauren) Ames, and many great nephews and nieces.

A beloved husband, daddy-father, grandpa, brother in Christ and Pastor, a dedicated servant of the Lord, and so much more.

The heart of his family, steady and constant, full of wit and wisdom. A leader, counselor, teacher, and student, always willing to learn more.

His life was full, and purposeful, impacting and touching others and their walk with the Lord as he faithfully continued his walk, striving to meet the goal, and He did.

A memorial service is to be held to honor and capture more of his life and testimony. Date to be determined.
