Tommie L. Phillips, 84 of Bryant, passed away on April 25, 2023. He was born on January 15, 1939 in Sumner, Mississippi to the late Louis and Helen Mabry Phillips. Tommie worked most of his life in Steel Mills in the south. He married his wife, Elizabeth in 1972 adding three step children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Roosevelt Phillips, Sr., George "Lewis" Phillips and Leroy Phillips, James Williams and Alonzo Williams, Sr.; five sisters and one brother.

Tommie is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Phillips, children, Tommie Lee Phillips, Jr. Mary Ellen Young, Jannait Williams Franklin and Lorenzo (Plum) Williams, Sr.; step children, Hal (Connie) Dobbs, Patricia (David) Dickerson, Ronnie (Yeashia) Anderson and a host of grands, great grands, nephews and nieces; sister, Rosie Lee Brook.

A Memorial service will be held on May 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas with Pastor John Tracy officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. before services.
