Vada W. Finney (Beaty) gained her angel wings on the morning of August 15, 2025.  She fought a brave battle with dementia for several years and still managed to smile and be her sassy self until the end.

Vada was preceded in death by her first husband of 32 years and the love of her life, Robert Finney; her loving parents, Winfield and Edna Beaty; infant brother, Walter Beaty; sister, Lula Mae Saint; sister, Lorene Palmer; brother, D.W. Beaty, and son-in-law, Ed Davis.

Left to cherish her memory is daughter, Tina Davis; son, Kevin Finney (Lisa); son, Derek Finney; grandchildren, Amber Ward (Christian), Heather Roberts, Zach Finney (Lindsey), Autumn Whitney (Chris), and Greyson Finney; great-grandchildren, Davis Ward, Kinley Roberts, Zachery Finney Jr., Traxel Finney, Ryder Whitney, Brayden Whitney, and Bryce Whitney; as well as a host of extended family & friends.  Vada will be very much missed by her family.

Cremation will be by Ashby Funeral Home.  A memorial is not planned at this time.
