Vada Mae Harris (Sandi), of Bryant, passed away Saturday July 13, 2024 at the age of 78. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Vada had a deep faith in God and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Bryant.

She is preceded in death by Prentiss & June Sanders and sister Jayne Finch.

Vada (Sandi) was a friend to everyone she knew. She was always quick to share a laugh or encouraging word, and she prayed for her loved ones daily.

Vada graduated from Little Rock Central High School and Baptist School of Nursing.  She had a long fulfilling career as a nurse and patient advocate, but her most treasured "title" was "Gram" to her four grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years, Robert "Phil" Harris, their daughter Robin Campbell (Mark), sisters Pat Sanders-Flynn, Carolyn Homeyer (Jim) and grandchildren Andrew Campbell, Ashley Powell (Luke), Adam Campbell, and Anna Grace Campbell, along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 1pm Saturday July 20th at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery.  Brother Benny Grant will officiate.
