Velma Lucille Bagley, 80, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on June 16, 2024. She was born on October 15, 1943 in Benton to Gordon and Gladys Wright.

She was a loving Wife, Sister, Mom, Nana and friend to many. Lucille knew and loved the Lord and was a faithful member at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in Benton. She was a 50 plus year faithful member of the Sharon Extension Homemakers Club of Saline County. She enjoyed going to flea markets and antique shops where she could find any and all deals. She enjoyed making quilts for her Grandchildren and Great Grands. She found joy in spending time at the lake with family and friends. Jug fishing was a hobby of hers and she enjoyed teaching her Grandchildren how to fish with noodles. She will be remembered most by how much she loved the Lord and cared for others.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, (Gordon and Gladys Wright) her husband (Benny Joe Bagley), and her sister (Marilyn LeQuieu), Grandchildren; Colton and Judd Bagley.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Lisa (Johnny) Mitchell of Benton, Jolene (Floyd) Palmer of Benton, and Son; Joey (Lori) Bagley of Mount Ida, her brothers; Sam (Pat) Wright of Benton, Tommie (Debbie) Wright of Benton; Brother in-law (Robert LeQuieu), Grandchildren; Jayce (Samantha) Mitchell, Matt (Danielle) Mitchell, Makayla (Corey) Lindsey, Bailey (Morgan) Palmer, Jessica (Jacob) Metcalfe, Dustin Palmer, and Bryce Bagley; Great Grandchildren; Silas and Lorelai Mitchell, Naomi and Ian Mitchell, Oakley Lindsey, Blakleigh and Brantlee Palmer, Lillie and JJ Creekmore, Riley and Ryker Metcalfe, Harlan and Oaklynn Palmer, and Addy Eddlemon. Other Survivors include a host of close family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Ashby Funeral Home

Church services by Ashby Funeral Home will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Sharon Cemetery.
