Vera D. De Woody, age 99, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024.  She was born January 30, 1925 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.  Vera was a furniture finisher and loved working in her yard, reading, and her cat "Lil Bit".

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eris & Era McCoy; two husbands, Robert Raney Sr. and John De Woody; son, Robert Raney Jr.; brother, Mac McCoy; and two sisters, Clara Burton and Dorthy Welch.

Vera is survived by her daughter, Kay Minton; two granddaughters, Kristie Talley and Kacie Minton; three great-grandsons, Hunter, Hayden, and Hudson Talley; and several nieces & nephews.

A memorial visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 1 at Grape Chapel Church of God.
