Vicki Lynn Carter, aged 67, passed away peacefully at her home in Mesquite, Texas, on May 24th, 2024, with her family at her side.Vicki was born on February 14th, 1957, to Martha Elizabeth (Cady) Rosi and Roland Dinges in Chicago, Illinois.Vicki was predeceased by her mother, Martha Elizabeth (Cady) Rosi; father, Roland Dinges; sister, Pat Jordan; brothers Jack Dinges and Cliff Dinges, and grandson Zachery Smalls.

Vicki is survived by her partner Larry Kerr of Mesquite, Texas; her brother James Dinges and his wife Ronda of Cabot, Arkansas. She was a devoted mother to her three children: Chuck McConnell and his wife Ivy of Loxahatchee, Florida; Johnnie McConnell and his wife Amy of Wylie, Texas; and Erica Carter of Knoxville, Tennessee. Vicki was a proud grandmother to fourteen grandchildren: Caitlyn Hill and her husband, Quincy, of Benton, Arkansas; Zachary Smalls; Charlee Rogers of Arkansas; Marlise Foster, Miriem Foster, Madeline Foster, and Marbrey Foster of Fairfield, Illinois; Alyssa Holland; Nick McConnell, and his wife, Kayla; Braylen McConnell of Wylie, Texas; Destinee Ramsey and her husband, Scotty; Madison Tye; Lynzie Tye; and Mckynzie Tye of Knoxville, Tennessee. She was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren: Presley Hill, Quincy Hill III, Yesenia Rivera, and Jaxon Huh of Benton, Arkansas; Audriana Holland of Wylie, Texas; and Braxtynn Ramsey, Madynn Ramsey, Emersynn Ramsey, and Sailynn Ramsey (all the Ramsey great-grandchildren were graciously named after Vicky's middle name "Lynn") of Knoxville, Tennessee. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren lovingly called her Mamaw. Her niece, Tori Dinges of Mayflower, Arkansas, held a special place in her heart.

Vicki and Larry shared 35 years of beautiful memories together. They enjoyed vacationing, celebrating holidays, family reunions, and remained close with family and friends.

Known affectionately as "Kiki" by her friends and family, Vicki had a huge heart and genuine love for people. She cherished family and friends deeply, and when you were in her presence, you could always feel the love. She looked forward to phone conversations, visits, and gatherings.

Services will include a viewing at Ashby's Funeral home located at 108 W. Narroway St., Benton, AR 72015, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM on May 31st, followed by a graveside service at Pinecrest Funeral Home & Memorial Park located at 7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002.
