Virginia Marie Uekman Beck, 95, of Little Rock, passed away on October 7, 2025.  She was born in North Little Rock on February 1, 1930, to John and Margaret Uekman.

She was proceeded in death by her only love, Francis Beck, for 64 ½ years, her parents John and Margaret Uekman, sister Theresa Uekman, brother John Uekman Jr., grandparents Theodore and Lena Uekman, Alex and Adeline Sponer, and grandson, Jefferey Peel.

Virginia was a retired bookkeeper for Weingarten's grocery stores for 20 years.  She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church for 56 years.  She was also a dedicated charter member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas since 1986 and held all offices.  Virginia was famous for making cinnamon rolls for the Catholic Daughters' fundraisers.

She is survived by sons Raymond Beck of California and Dr. David Beck (Tiffany) of Fayetteville, AR, daughters Janis Winchester (Don) of California and Brenda Schrock (John) of Bryant, AR, grandchildren Dr. Melanie Leadley (Matt), Rachel Einertson (Joe), Nathan Lee (Jayme), step-granddaughters Kira Behnia and Robyn Behnia, great-grandchildren Max and Maddie Leadley, Braylee Peel, Beau and Paige Einertson, Paisley and Nathaniel Lee, and great-great-grandson Weston Ibbotson.

Virginia wanted to give thanks to a special couple, Gene and Doris Thomas, for their caring and friendship, and to her special doctor and nurse, Dr. James Kane and Linda.

The family wishes to thank Virginia's caregivers for the final months of her life – Jayme, Kaliea, and Ar'Tisha.

Visitation will be held at Ashby Funeral Home, 108 West Narroway St., Benton, AR, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16.

A rosary service will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6219 Baseline Rd., Little Rock, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17, followed by funeral mass at St. Theresa at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock.

Memorials may be made to Court Our Little Flower of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, St. Theresa's Parish Center Building Fund, or St. Theresa's Memorial Fund.
