Ecclesiastes says there is "a time to be born and a time to die".  Wanda Cardwell Calvert, of Benton, was born November 19, 1940 at her grandmother's house in rural Pulaski County.  She died at the age of 82.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, James E. Calvert (Eddie); her sister, Gloria Foisy (Rogar); and her parents, V.R. and Mary Cardwell of Keo.

Wanda was an active member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church for many years.  She knew that for her to absent from her body was to be present with the Lord.  Wanda's service will be a celebration of her going home.

Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 23 at Ashby Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will be 12:30 p.m. at Keo Cemetery in Keo.
