Obituary

Wanda Lou Hill Price, of Benton, left this earth to walk with her Jesus on March 16, 2025.Wanda was born June 6, 1945 to the late Louie and Roberta Hill in Beebe, AR Wanda retired from Saline County District Court after serving the public for 17 years. She always worked so very hard to support her family. Many years she held multiple jobs with day and night positions. She was determined to ensure her kids had what they needed each day. Christmas Around the World, Avon, and Home Interior sales are some examples. She enjoyed these "side gigs" as they allowed her to interact with many people and was able to make lifelong friends through the ventures. Later years she discovered her passion for flea markets. She and her husband Ferrel spent many weekends setting up for the Memphis Flea Market. During her retirement years she maintained a booth and worked at Blue Suede Shoes. She was thankful of the many friends she made during her flea market years.

God blessed Wanda with the greatest man and partner for her possible in Ferrel Price. They met at a PWP (Parents Without Partners) event and hit it off instantly. He came to our family at the perfect time. Wanda loved Ferrel with all her heart and he loved her the same. Those that knew them can attest to the friendship and bond they shared together. Together they built a home to raise and support all their children. Wanda loved her kids and grandkids greatly. She was truly a wonderful Daughter, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother.

She had a passion for serving others and her community. She served on the Saline County Fair board, member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Dixie Car Club, and Mid-South Sheridan car club. She was very active in each of these organizations and held many leadership positions within them. Wanda was an active member of Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her church family very much and they also loved and cared for her.

Wanda was born into a simple life on a small farm in Beebe. She was raised within the Union Valley Church family. She made so many friends and impacted many from these humble beginnings. She loved her family so very much. Each of us will forever be impacted by her grace, love, friendship, honor, tenacity, work ethic, determination and unconditional love for her family.
