Wayne LaDon Still (Don), 81, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on Thursday April 4, 2024.  He was born October 27, 1942 in Disney, Oklahoma to the late E.A. and Hazel Still. He was baptized at Traskwood United Methodist Church.  He retired from Reynolds after 21 years of service.

Don met his wife, Martha (Jean) Still in 1962 after a double date, in which they soon realized was with the wrong person.  The couple were married September 5, 1963 and were inseparable for 59 years. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Dale Murphy.  He loved playing basketball in his youth and there wasn't a football game that he didn't enjoy.  He was a yard sale enthusiast and was always on the hunt for his next collection.  He enjoyed card games with his kids and grandkids, and was a ruthless Spades player.  Don was a man of few words, and often seen as a gentle giant.  He had a dry sense of humor that would catch you off guard.  Don's greatest joy in life was his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, E.A and Hazel Still, wife Martha (Jean) Still, and Sister Jolene Stockton.  He is survived by his children: Michael Still (Sandy) of Mt. Ida, Arkansas, Terry Still (Nicole) of Benton, Arkansas, Mark and Kimberly Still of Benton Arkansas, and Paul and Karen Still of Bella Vista, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren: Cameron and Brittany Still, Carah Still, Katelyn and Caleb Webb, Zack and Devyn Jones, Bailey and Colton Smith, Ciera Still, and Asher Still.  2 great-grandchildren: Rylee Jones, Cash Smith. Twin brother Dewayne (Leon) and Linda Still.

Visitation will be at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas, April 10, 2024 at 6pm to 8pm. All are welcome to attend the graveside service at Traskwood Cemetery in Traskwood, Arkansas, April 11, 2024 at 10:00am.
