Obituary

Wesley Ray Youngman, 69, of Benton, was born on October 13, 1954 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, Arkansas. He was the first child born to Wesley and Betty Youngman.

Ray went to Glen Rose High School. After school he went into the field to work as an auto body painter. This was one of his greatest passions. He loved to work on vehicles and took great pride in all of the vehicles he owned.

On February 1, 1973 he married Barbara Jean Burnett. Two years later they welcomed their first child Robert Wesley Youngman into the world. They then had two more boys, Ricky and Keith Youngman.

Ray was a devoted son, brother, husband, grandpa and great grandpa. His favorite times were spent with family at the lake. Ray was called to his eternal resting place on September 17, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley, mother, Betty, sister, Sharon Kay, and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Youngman, his sons Rob (his favorite daughter-in-law, Cheryl), Ricky and Keith, his grandkids, Mallori (David), Dylan, Chandler (Katelyn), Bryce, Cameron (Cherokee), Brayden, and Conner, his great grandkids Della, Sophie and Caesyn, brothers James (Debbie), Terrry (Renee), his dog Bo Bo and many more loving friends and family.

Ray was an amazing man who loved to laugh. He will be missed by so many.
