William Shane Rummel, age 51, of Little Rock, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024.  He was born to William (Sonny) Rummel and Marsha Smith on December 24, 1972 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Rummel; daughter, Carmen Rummel, and sister, Letetia Dawne Rummel.

Shane is survived by his mother, Marsha Smith (Tim); son, Blake Rummel (Devon); granddaughter, Isabelle Dawne; special cousin, "DA" Hilda Cochran (Kirby); and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, & friends.

He was a professional painter, sheet rock installer, he had a passion for loving people, and finding a way to put a smile on anyone's face.  Some of his favorite hobbies were to paint, draw, and fish most of all.  Shane could out hug a bear and throw a joke with the best of them.  He cherished & loved every moment he spent with Blake and Carmen; especially the time he had with his granddaughter however short it was.  Everyone that had a chance to know Shane, knew he was a stubborn & free spirit.  Shane will be greatly missed by all.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20 at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.  Bro. Mike Titsworth will be officiating.
