Wilma Jean Davis, age 92, of Little Rock, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Friday, August 23, 2024.  She was born December 4, 1931 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Lee Davis Sr.; her parents; two sisters; and four brothers.

Mom loved her family.  She always had a smile, was spunky, and a caring & loveable angel.  Always ready for an adventure and it didn't matter where!  Mom loved to dress up nice & pretty with shining & sparkling things!  You could always hear her humming & singing throughout the house.  She couldn't keep a secret and made everyone believe they were her favorite.  Mom enjoyed her day looking for bargains and treasuring her two little dogs.  Would also sit looking out her picture window while enjoying her morning coffee.  We love you, Mom!!!

She is survived by her six children, Jimmie Davis Jr. of Conway, Arkansas, Sharon Fredericks (Sonny) of Sarasota, Florida, Jeanie (Michael) Seale of Norman, Oklahoma, Johnny Davis (Tammie) of Shannon Hills, Arkansas, Julie Wilson (Les) of Tull, Arkansas and Frankie Davis of Little Rock, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 6 at the Little Rock National Cemetery.  Doug Pruitt of Midtowne Church will be officiating.
