Wilma Raye Duke Cody, age 94, of DeWitt, formerly of Benton, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025.

Wilma was born January 28, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to Sylvan and Sarah Jones Duke.

Wilma married Collins (Hoss) Cody and they had three children, Charles, Rob, and Tommy.

Wilma was a nurse at the state hospital and at Alcoa for many years. She retired in 1984. She loved to cook and to support her boys in their many sporting events.

Preceding Wilma in death are her parents, Sylvan and Sarah Duke; spouse, Collins (Hoss) Cody; child, Charles Cody; brothers, Glen Duke, Hubert Duke, Sonny Duke, Joe Duke; sisters, Mary Hubble, Wilda Seaman.

Remaining to cherish Wilma's memory are children, Rob Cody (Cindy), Tommy Cody (Stephanie); grandchildren, Kevin Cody, Canyon Cody (Reagan), Haven Cody, Cole Cody, Beau Cody; great-grandchildren, Cruze Cody, Creed Cody.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 25 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral will follow visitation at 2:00pm at Ashby Funeral Home with Ethan Robinson officiating. Interment will be at Pinecrest Cemetery.
