Kelly Eldon Orrick, 60 of Benton, succumbed to the ravaging effects of COVID 19 on December 28, 2020. He was born on March 18, 1960 in Little Rock to Bill and Janie Pelton Orrick.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Orrick, grandparents, Clifford and Nellie Orrick; Garland and Anna Lee Pelton all of Benton.
Kelly was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church and the 1978 graduating class of Benton High School. He lived in Benton all his life and was an avid fisherman, going as often as possible. Kelly loved to share his catch (which he would fillet) with family and friends.
Kelly worked at Philips Lighting in Little Rock until it closed; he then went to work at Union Pacific Railroad in North Little Rock where he retired in 2019.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 26 years, Judith Bearden Orrick, son, Justin (Christina) Orrick, grandsons, Dane and Holden Orrick of Windsor, Missouri; his mother, Janie (Bob) Molock and sister, Kendra Nalley all of Benton; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives, friends who loved him dearly.
Pallbearers will be his nephews.
There will be an open visitation at Ashby Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2021 at Smith New Rosemont Cemetery in Benton with Dr. Terry B. Parrish officiating.
