Cockrell
Dec 29, 1961 — Dec 1, 2018
Terry Lane Cockrell, age 56 of Benton passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018, surrounded with family love. He left us way too soon, with a forever hole in our hearts. He was born in Benton, AR on December 29, 1961 to the proud parents Charles Cockrell (deceased 2007) and Deloma Cockrell.
Terry was born, raised and made his lifelong home in Benton. He graduated from Benton High School in 1981 and soon after married his high school sweetheart, Lisa Walker Cockrell in 1983. Terry worked in construction most of his career. He was a music lover and could play several instruments, he loved strumming the guitar. He loved the outdoors, hunting & fishing, spending time with his cousin Bobby Harris (wife Judy) on their farm in Hot Springs and always said his dream job was to be a professional fisherman. If he was outside, he was happy. Above it all, his absolute greatest joy in his world was his grandchildren. He adored them, they adored him.
