William Ray Salyers, 78, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026.

William (Bill) was born on January 17, 1948 in War, West Virginia to Arvil and Virgie Salyers. He was a father, grandfather, and brother, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

William is survived by two siblings, Calvin Salyers and Stacey Jo Gibson; four children, Bruce Salyers, Melissa Sue (Shawn) Hill, Karen (James) Kinsey, and Brody

Layne Salyers; 10 Grand Children, Jessica McDonald, Sidney Salyers, Isabel Salyers, Gavin Hill, Garrett Hill, Blake Photisane, Kenneth Fenimore, Jonathan Fenimore, Steven Kinsey and Savanah Kinsey; as well as 20 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Father Arvil Salyers, his Mother Virgie Salyers, and a sister, Della May Salyers.

A graveside service to celebrate William’s life will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 8:00am at New Rosemont Cemetery in Benton, Arkansas.
